Harlow Chorus was formed in 1975 by Michael Kibblewhite under whose leadership it grew in size and reputation. In July 2007 the choir said goodbye to Sarah Tenant-Flowers, their Musical Director since 1996, who led Harlow Chorus through eleven very happy years. and enhanced its reputation as one of the foremost choirs in the eastern region. Sarah is undertaking more engagements overseas and develop her professional work with Singscape and the new choral ensemble Encoro. Happily, links have been retained and the choir is delighted that Sarah is now President of Harlow Chorus. Meanwhile, members are enjoying fresh experiences and challenges under their new Musical Director, Daniel Hyde.

Both Musical Director, Daniel Hyde and Accompanist, Susan Graham Smith, are full-time professional musicians, jointly guiding Harlow Chorus to new heights in terms of musicianship and repertoire.
